Does your corporation have interest in 5 mil SP characters? Does your corp belong to an alliance that controls at least a handful of ratting/mining 0.0 systems? Does your corp's alliance have control of at least one station that houses a level 4...

Thanks. The lowsec thing is what'll kill it for me unless there are 0.0 ones as well? I hate lowsec, though, can't shoot first without being the one to take the sec hit cause of the fools running around above -5 sec status.

Corp standings absolutely matter. If your corp standing is higher than your personal standing than it is what is used to determine agent availability and effective standing until such a time as your standing surpasses the corp standing.
